Her compassion and understanding are far-reaching as she has traveled as far as Vietnam and Nepal to perform surgery for children. She is nationally recognized. My Boots along with its sequel entitled My Big Boots are dedicated to the children worldwide born with clubfoot. These books have been published to provide information from a child's point of view while also providing accurate information for families who are caring for children with clubfoot. We find these books to be helpful in speaking with children. These books are also helpful in aiding in any conversation with siblings and friends of children with clubfoot.
