Then there are the dreams...strange visions of a house on fire that have recently taken on physical properties, further influencing Jacob's emotions. If that was not enough, Jacob's daily routine gets interrupted by the presence of a ghastly man who turns a perfectly fresh piece of fruit into a rotten remnant with only a touch.
