Aleeya Rai is lost. Not only literally, when she sneaks her way to the Boston subways to sing, but also when she's faced with how she could possibly get people to notice her talent. Becoming a singer and getting into her dream school are no easy feats, but she believes she has what it takes.

In attempts to find herself and to achieve her goals, she strays from familiarity. She soon realizes that life is not as simple and straightforward as she wants it to be, throwing her to the unknown and jeopardizing way more than just her dreams.
