After Sally Ann loses a tooth on Christmas Eve, she's awoken by the sound of bells. When she sneaks downstairs in hopes of finding Santa Claus, she instead discovers the Tooth Fairy. The "bells" were her coins jingling in her purse. In that moment, Santa arrives and bumps into Miss Fairy, causing an accident where he falls asleep on the couch, unable to deliver presents.
