9A Pocket For Spring takes place in Australia. It is about a kangaroo named Spring and her mischievous joey named Pogo. Spring tries different ways to keep Pogo from getting into trouble. A good friend gives a present to Spring to help her take care of her little boy. It is still used by kangaroos today to keep their joeys safe.
