As a young child, I always hoped to be married, so much so that I made it my life's purpose to pursue my husband. However, there was one thing wrong with this: I saw men as a pair of shoes-you try one on, till you find the one that fits. Over the course of my young life, God corrected my view of men. I had several hard lessons to learn along the way. I invite mothers and daughters to walk with me on my journey and to learn from my mistakes.
