Comes in digipak.Track 1 to 5 recorded July/August 1980 at Studio Freeson, Pujaut, France and Sunrise Studios, Kirchenberg, Switzerland. The tapes used on tracks 1 to 5 were recorded in New York City at street fairs, demonstrations, and, along with the bagpipes, in Washington Square Park.
Tracks 6 to 13 recorded July/August 1980 at Sunrise. Tracks 7, 10 and the end of track 8 are based on live concert recordings of an extended version of Massacre at CBGB in New York, April 1980. They were subsequently altered and added to in Switzerland. 12 is from the same concert and is an improvised piece heard as played.
Originally released as an LP by Ralph Records (cat. #: FF 8106) in 1981.
