This recording, made in 1999, was originally conceived as one of the first surround recordings but,
owing to market limitations, it was only released in a stereo version as BIS-CD-1000/02. For the
present release we have used the original tapes, mixing them down anew for the Surround Sound
version.The two stereo versions (PCM as well as DSD) have been prepared from the original master.
