• Tracks 1-11: Recorded at JEL Studios. Originally released as "M.I.A* - Murder In A Foreign Place" EP on Alternative Tentacles (Virus 35), June 1984.
• Tracks 12, 13: Recorded in 1984 at the Casbah in Fullerton. Track 12 released on "Various - Half Skull" 7" compilation; track 13 released on Various - Flipside Vinyl Fanzine Vol 2
• Tracks 14-22: Recorded as a demo at JEL Studios. "New Left" released on "Various - Not So Quiet On The Western Front" compilation, Alternative Tentacles. All others released on "Genocide* / MIA* - Last Rites For Genocide And MIA" split LP on Smoke Seven Records (smk 7 104), 1982.
• Tracks 23, 24: Recorded during rehearsal at the Schiff building in Las Vegas, 1980.
• Tracks 25, 26: Recorded during rehearsal, 1981.
• Track 27: Recorded at Green Carton Studio, 1983. Not released.
• Tracks 28, 29: Recorded live at CBGB, NY, 1985.
• Tracks 30-35: Recorded on 4-track cassette at Pulsar Rehearsal Studio in Fullerton, 1985, in preparation for "M.I.A* - Notes From The Underground" LP.
• Track 36: Recorded at Evan Williams Studio, Santa Ana, 1985. Not released.
• Track 37: Recorded at home on 4-track cassette.
