Method Sculpt  is the creation of Meri Dadi, a hairstylist who developed her expertise in some of New York's top salons. She now works with private clients in France and is organizing professional workshops offering other stylists the advantages of the Method Sculpt hair styling.                                                                                      

THE CUT
Method Sculpt is a technique that incorporates the weight and natural movement of hair as the guiding principles of alignment as compared to traditional styling which wets the hair and lifts and pulls it away from the scalp, therefore against its natural curves and bends. By keeping hair in its natural  every day dry state, the stylist can  easily  see and respond to the existing form, sculpting a new shape that is desired.

The sculpt method works with the hair's natural gravitational position; there is no pulling or forcing the hair to do what it does not do naturally.    This is achieved in part by cutting the hair while it is dry so that the form is seen in real time instead of after the styling,   as done after a wet hair cut. When a new form and style is determined, the shape is sculpted by removing unwanted volume and by adding (highlighting) volume where desired.
