Provided that you truthfully disclose your location, you will also increase your visibility in your community. Our search engine has been optimized to provide a detailed area search in all corners of the world. If a town exists, chances are our database contains its information or that of the next closest town.

The more you publish, the greater the likelihood that you will be discovered. Keep in mind that the intention of a published article is to provide the reader with an opportunity to discern your subject expertise. The more you publish that is of value and that is correct, the more apt you are to distinguish yourself.

Unlike most social media sites, notemote addresses the relationships you want and not your current or past 'friendships'. By describing your passions, goals, work ... and listing the connections that you seek in Meeting of the Minds, you are bound to form long lasting relationships based upon mutual likes.

Of course you can sell your products and services. All you need is a PayPal account, and off you go! Once a purchase is made, you will be notified by PayPal and notemote of the sale. You are then responsible for sending the item via certified mail (FedEx, DHL, UPS ...)

You can detail all the products that you offer on notemote. We ask that you organize them under common features and sell them accordingly i.e. a furniture manufacturer should list sofas under a furniture category and advertise them in the store section.

At this time, you may list a maximum of 200.

You may post up to 40 event listings which can searched by date, title and location.

No. With the exception of Events, all other categories (Members, Goods for Sale, Services Offered, Wanted, Rentals and Publications) can be searched globally. Anyone interested in a specialty item can find it on notemote provided that they conduct a worldwide search. Searches for Services Offered, Wanted and Rentals may be limited to a particular region. As notemote grows, this will become increasingly important; finding an opportunity in your town may be of more interest than one exceedingly far away.

You only need to publish your listings once. Repeated attempts to publish will not increase your visibility as they are retrieved by location, category and title/tags.

We never place annoying popups advertisements on your site. We want you and your readers to feel comfortable when writing, reading ... teaching/learning from one another without incorrectly selecting an advertisement link. The only location we will place ads, either third party or notemote based, is in the left column area. Members/Users interested in the advertisement, can make a conscious selection.

Absolutely not! You may have received an email from us because we did our research and determined that we would be honored to have you as a member; however, we will never send spam nor engage in the deceptive practice of equating your contacts with potential notemote members. We ask that you inform others of our services.

If you have exceeded the number of posts, then you will be unable to publish an article. At the top of your editor, you are given a running count of the total number of publications. Check that you have not reached that amount. Another possibility is that you have not entered certain fields. A red error message will be placed next to the required item.

If you do not purchase extra storage space with us i.e. you are, typically, not a photographer or a band interested in selling digital products, we limit the image size to 5MB. Images are compressed after loading. Those interested in selling digital illustrations, pictures and mp3s can do so by paying $20/gigabyte/year. Sales of these items do not incur any fees. More information is detailed in fees and in the editor's Store section of your site.

We use both a flash loader and a default html loader. If the flash loader does not work, to the left is an option of using the default loader.

We compress photos/illustrations after they have been loaded. Chances are that you have a slow Internet connection. We ask that you use photo compression software so that the image you wish to load is less than 100kb and, therefore, takes considerably less time to load.

You may upload 5 images at once except in for the Logo and Main Picture Loader. If you have exceeded the 150 photo maximum, you will be unable to load anymore pictures.

Each member account, with the exception of shoppers, will receive a notemote website. The URL is the address of the site: www.notemote.com/URL. The URL will be unique, easily readable and somewhat, if not entirely, related to the site display name (your business name or personal name).

Yes. Once you set it, do not change it. Search engines will associate this name with your site.
