What is Notemote?

Notemote (note and promote) is a hub for the exchange of ideas, goods and services, where members are provided some of the best in Internet technologies to present themselves in a distinct and quality manner; the place where professional and hobbyist alike can offer information, ideas and creative solutions, where products can be bought and sold, where communities can be created and where opportunities can arise. Share it. Buy it. Sell it.

The Need

Notemote arose out of a need to promote one's work. Nothing is more frustrating than having created, worried about, financed, doubted, become devoted to ... a product, in our case a CD of original tunes, and it never be noticed. Equally disappointing, places that offer you the opportunity to sell your item(s),

1. typically charge exorbitant fees and, often, have up-front costs
2. often are only a one-stop shop with an assumption that the buying audience consists of those only interested in the purchase of specific items i.e. someone only interested in purchasing a book. What if that person would also be interested in purchasing your CD? Would they then go to an exclusive music store?
3. barely offer a product/item description thereby telling only a fraction of your story. We felt it incredibly important to allow you, the notemote member, to paint a comprehensive picture of yourself that illustrates, by way of publications/pictures/videos, your expertise so that others can make a sound decision as to the quality of your goods and services before making a purchase.
4. rarely promote your work. This is what notemote does ad infinitum. You write it, we promote it! It is that simple.

We have spent a fair amount of time, energy and resources to bring notemote to the public forum. We sincerely hope that it helps you in your endeavors and successes. If not, offer some advise in our community forum. It will be read; if we find it a worthy value add, we will incorporate it in the note.
